AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) is an interface specification written to provide an interface to high performance graphics engines, enabling a home computer to be used similar to a 3D workstation. Microsoft has announced to support AGP bus in future releases of both Win95 (OSR2.1, vgartd.vxd from Intel) and NT 4.0 (with Service Pack 3).
